MAD Tap: spend your SOL anywhere cards work
MAD Tap gives $MAD holders a virtual Visa or Mastercard you top up with SOL. Pay online, in apps and on subscriptions, or add the card to Google Wallet and tap to pay in stores.
How it works
- Hold $MAD. 5M+ $MAD unlocks one card. 10M+ unlocks three cards and the whale-only designs.
- Pick a card and an amount. Choose US Visa, Hong Kong Visa or Hong Kong Mastercard. No date of birth is needed to start.
- Pay in SOL. Send the exact SOL shown, straight from your MAD wallet in one tap or by QR code. The card holds dollars, and shops abroad convert at checkout.
- Spend. Reveal the card number in the app, or add it to Google Wallet. Verification codes show up right inside MAD.

Fees
- New card: $5.
- Each load: $1 + 4%.
- SOL top-ups: a 1% deposit fee plus 1% to MAD.
- Closing a card: $2. What's left comes back as Tap credit.
You stay in control
Freeze, reload or close any card from the app whenever you like. Card numbers are shown only when you ask, and hidden again after a minute. Purchases usually show in the app within an hour.
Cards are issued by our card partner. Google Wallet is tested; Apple Wallet support depends on the card partner.
